This repository hosts code and data corresponding to the article "A Comparative Analysis of Sepsis Identification Methods in an Electronic Database." published in Critical Care Medicine, PMID: 29303796, PMCID: PMC5851804. The paper will be made open access on 2019-04-01. The code is publicly source controlled on GitHub. The copy of the code here is a static snapshot of the above repository at the v1.0 release. The code generates a cohort of sepsis patients with a number of covariates (where "sepsis" is defined a number of ways, including using Sepsis-3 clinical criteria); this data can be entirely reproduced from MIMIC-III, and is included here for convenience.
