PhysioToolkit binaries for MS-Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista/7

This directory contains packages of PhysioToolkit software that have been precompiled for MS-Windows. They should work under any recent 32- or 64-bit version of MS-Windows, including NT, 2000, XP, Vista, and 7 (8 has not been tested -- reports are welcome) but not under MS-Windows 95, 98, ME, CE or older versions (3.x or earlier).

All PhysioToolkit software is freely available in source form. You are encouraged to download the sources, compile them, study them, and modify them to suit your needs.

WFDB binaries for MS-Windows

If you have not already done so, please read about the WFDB Software Package, and read the WFDB quick start for MS-Windows.

Precompiled recent versions of the WFDB software package are among the programs available here. These versions include NETFILES support. The sources for these programs are available in the PhysioToolkit archives.

These programs were compiled under MS-Windows 7 using gcc (included in Cygwin, a free Unix-like development environment for MS-Windows). Instructions for installing these binaries, and for linking your own applications with the WFDB library, are included in the WFDB quick start instructions for MS-Windows.

plt binaries for MS-Windows

This directory also contains precompiled versions of plt for MS-Windows. In order to use these you must have installed Cygwin (see above); see the installation notes for recommendations for optional Cygwin packages and other free software that works with plt. The sources for plt are available here.
